You know how it is. You slave away for a long time writing a book. It wins or gets shortlisted in a competition or two. Publishers say nice things about it (often along the lines of 'We might be able to publish it if more people knew of you...') but for whatever reason it doesn't hit the bookstore shelves.

Do you let it sit there, the ink slowly fading away, the paper gradually becoming mildewed, its voice softly becoming muted in the bottom drawer? Or do you offer it for free to a friendly Internet?

When I wrote them, I did so with the intention that I would create good characters, classic dilemmas, some humour, some sadness and some hope. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

You're welcome to make a donation before or after you read them, or not at all. I would love to hear your comments.

Happy reading.
